At VIVA, the focus is on developing a layout that, while maintaining the pragmatism and circulations typical of a restaurant, creates more static, cozy, and comfortable spaces. Various areas are designed, gradually staggered towards the interior of the venue, generating a transition between more informal spaces at the facade, playing with the interior/exterior relationships, and becoming more formal inside the restaurant. This transition progresses through high showcooking tables and culminates in more enveloping and constructed meeting areas. The materiality is developed using natural materials such as terracotta and lime mortar, combined with more technological elements, establishing, similar to the layout, a dialogue between the materials typical of residential and those of the restaurant.
