la Odette

We found la Odette –la Olga’s twin sister– with way too many partitions regarding its dimensions and its availability of natural light and ventilation. We decided to pull as much as possible the living area towards the back of the building, so that the bedrooms could absorb part of the light that is filtered through the main façade. In la Odette we worked on contrasts between natural materials to break the volume up into planes and to enhance and reinforce the distribution and use of spaces, gesture that makes the spatial lecture have some complexity, less global.
